Forget the padlock.
This is an online diary of a Jedi wannabe and a wanderlust junkie in the next 1000 days.
Crack the Shutter is one stubborn work of Daryl and MG featuring daily snapshots of our whereabouts as trigger- happy fellows,
one day at a time.

123/1000: The Majestic Beast
Singapore without Merlion is like visiting Bacolod (Philippines) without Inasal.
Trust us, this must not to be missed by any visitor in Singapore.
124/1000: Oh Hi, Summertime at Carbin Reef, Sagay City
Forget the crowded beaches. Experience serenity marked by the soothing sound of waves and feel the heat of the tropical sun without the need to travel afar.
Walk out into this sandbar, enjoy endless giggles with the gang and never forget to get that perfect tan!
123/1000: Marina Bay Sands
And then there are the views.
Just a walking distance from the Merlion Park, it’s architecture is simply one of the best in Singapore.
122/1000: The Locals of Singapore
Aside from the massive skyscrapers towering above as we wander around the city, another noticeable fact is the fast walking speed of Singaporeans. We were actually amazed as to how the locals lace up their shoes and walk like there’s no tomorrow.
And for some even in their sky high heels!
Entrance fee is P50 only. The food….sumptuous! :)
121/1000: SCOOPS!
We all love ice cream, don’t we?
Now there’s something new to try for everyone here in Bacolod.
Nestled on the Capitol Subdivision Bldg., beside Trattoria Uma, is FIC’s dine-in ice cream parlor- SCOOPS!
Spoil yourself in some sweet, velvety ice cream. No matter what flavor you choose, every flavor is a heavenly bliss.
And oh did we mention that they serve many deli favorites too?
Warning: The serving is soooooo big and to eat one alone will surely give you ice cream flabs and jiggly arms!
120/1000: Delicioso!
This week we are featuring another oh-so-sumptuous restaurant on the street of Lacson. After days of going through a foodie marathon at Delicioso, we could say that pasta is the star of the show.
From fine dining into fun dining, this is another destination here in the city- perfect for all globe hopping gastronomes.
119/1000: Chef Carmine Pece’s Cucina
This is no ordinary restaurant here in Bacolod. Located at Pearl Manor Hotel along the 23rd Lacson Street, Chef Carmine’s menu matches that of an authentic Italian cuisine at reasonable prices. Making it as one of our top choices when our taste buds say Italian.
From its antipasti, mains to dessert, we’ve often wished we could have it for seven consecutive days in a week!
118/1000: Somewhere Up South
A 90-minute trip from Bacolod to La Vista Highlands Mountain Resort is ideal for anyone seeking an escape from the frenzy of daily life. We’ve been here twice and we just can’t help but love the relaxed vibes and picturesque sceneries the place has to offer.
Btw, make sure to have some stopovers along the way!
117/1000: Kuppa-licious
Because it’s the home of our favorite cappuccino.
Because we heart Apple, we named our puppy in memory of Mr. Jobs.
Bacolod wakes the Dragon with bigger street fairs and bursting fireworks.
The merriment continues tomorrow, see you along the street of Lacson tumblrmates!
The title reads Gong Xi Fa Cai, means Happy Chinese New Year.
Cheers to a good life, luck and fortune.
Hey there! Wow, thanks. Ofcourse, Nikon is definitely <3 . Haha!

112/1000: Wishlist Number 6, granted.
